There was once a beautiful quote about LOVE that read;
“Where There Is Love, There Is Life”.
Before understanding this quote, we must first understand the term “LOVE”.
How do we interpret love???
• Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, and trusting them not to. There’s a thin line between love and hate
• The act of caring and giving to someone else…having someone’s best interest and well-being as a priority in your life. To truly L.O.V.E. is a very selfless act.
• “Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offence. Love keeps no score of wrongs; does not gloat over another’s sins, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and its endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love.”
• Love is when all you care about is their happiness, safety, and health. If they are gone for more than 2 minutes you already miss and long for them to be next to you. Their smile makes you melt; their presence makes you grin and feel happy.
There are a lot of definitions of love, but the feeling & emotions behind it is same. Love differs from person to person like the love of a mother, differs from the love of a spouse, and differs from the love of food. Who said only Atomic or Nuclear Bombs are powerful weapons of the world?
The power of love has always been a strong defender against everything, with love and communication anything can be overcome. Love has always been an effective force in relation to society and social relations issues. If more people would spread love and positivity as a society we could come together and find a solution to all our concerns. Talking about powers, how can we ignore a Mother’s Love!
Your mother starts loving you from the time you are growing in her…. She is the one who carries you 9 months without rest ...weight increasing day by day, she is the one who suffers a lot pain while giving birth to you... She is the one who feels happy and forgets the world just after seeing your little cute face… She is the one who makes you learn how to speak... walk... and educates you... the first teacher... She is the one who suffers the pain when you are feeling it. She sometimes scolds you but suffers a lot more than you… She still thinks about you even though you are not with her…. She is the one who would make many sacrifices to see you happy until her life ends i.e. because of LOVE…… I think now I can understand and say LOVE is really POWERFUL.
Not only the Mother’s Love, but if you love someone truly, then no one can stop you from having those feelings, there’s nothing which exists like cast, religion, sex which differs your love. Don’t be afraid and stay on the path, you’re not doing anything wrong.
Explaining the term LOVE thoroughly with the help of example;
Sohni Mahiwal is a great love story coming out of the Punjabi folk tales. This is the story of Sohni, the daughter of a potter, and Mahiwal, a buffalo herder. Sohni was forced to marry another potter but her love for Mahiwal drove her to swim across a river to meet Mahiwal. She used an earthen pot to help her swim across. When her sister in law found out about this she replaced the baked earthen pot with an unbaked one. When she tried to cross the river, the unbaked clay dissolved in the water and she drowned. Seeing her drown, Mahiwal also jumped in the river and drowned.
There are the tons of stories which defines love is life, what is yours??
